Mixed in with snook and tarpon are snappers, groupers, sheapshead, barracudas, permit, and other fish that can surprise you.

Fall brings wahoo to the Fort Lauderdale coast. These fish show up on there move south with the best bite occurring around the full and new moon. Kingfish also make a showing on the reef along with the southern migration of dolphin offshore.

Winter time is prime time for sailfish off of Fort Lauderdale. This fish are migrating south and the bite can be phenomenal. Each passing cold front brings waves of sailfish past our coast. Ft. Winter time conditions limit our offshore trips but swordfish remain offshore year-round and if weather allows some of the best fishing occurs when others shy away from the rougher seas.
